I've been a bit negative recently, so this is number 1 in an occasional series of things that make me happy.
What Time Is Love America
Playing guitars, in armour, in a storm, on a viking longboat, the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu remind us what time love is:
Justified and Ancient
They're justified, ancient, ride an icecream van (make mine a 99 please), and persuaded Tammy Wynette to get involved in their silliness. I like to sing this one at my local karaoke haunt.
Doctorin' the Tardis
An early appearance under the name "The Timelords". This was my first exposure to Drummond and Cauty. An odd blend of The Glitter Band and the old Who theme.

One of the sounds of my youth. I've often wondered what they said to persuade Tammy to record that when I hear it.
According to the lyrics, they called her up in Tennessee and said "Can you stand by the JAMMS? But if you don't like what they're going to do, you'd better not stop them as they're coming through."
Bring the bass back! :)
Oooh the mighty Bill Drummond... I had the pleasure of meeting him a few months ago... The 17
Well im all aboard on the ice crem van for this one.
so so long since Ive heard these :O)
I couldn't wait to post my comment at 3am (eternal).
Did KLF lead the pop end of the metal-dance cross-over or did they just ride the wave? Ahh, who cares! They were good tunes.
BTW, weren't the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu from the Conspiractus trilogy?
The JAMMS were indeed from the Illuminatus Trilogy Ms Jones. :)
As was a lot of the KLF's imagery. I used to own a cardgame called Illuminati which had some blank "make your own" cards. So I made The K Foundation, Ford Timelord and "We burned a million quid".
> million quid
LOL.
"Never whistle while p*ssing" then? :-) Blimey those book(s) influenced a lot of people.
FNORD :-D
