Remember last summer I had a little hoo-hah with V, the proprietor of Rasputin's nightclub?
(Don't worry if you don't, Although I'm not going to link to it and open old wounds)
I went into the club last night for the first time in several months. And late in the evening V called me aside for a little chat. It seems that while Googling her club's name she found my post, and the responses. And was none too thrilled.
Which actually has led to something good.
With the benefit of hindsight, and several months of cool down, we have now made our peace; and the ladies loo is available to me as long as I ask.
Job's a good-'un.

"As long as you ask"? How incredibly generous! (I'm being sarcastic, by the way...) I'd hardly say the "job's a good 'un"... And as for the argument that allowing TG people to make use of the ladies opens the doors to all manner of skirt-wearing weirdos; well, it may not be possible to tell the difference between a genuine girl and a tranny; you can usually tell the difference, though, between a genuine tranny and a skirt-wearing weirdo out to get their kicks!
Its a compromise. I live in a small town with a small-town-mentality which has wandering packs of morons of both genders who are just looking for an excuse.
If I had mobility issues, I'd have to go through the same rigmarole, as the gents is accessed by narrow steep stairs.
OK, so yeah, not "job's a good'un". More "It'll have to do." Its not like I go in there often anyway. I'll save the righteous anger of the tranny for the battles that will make a difference.
More than 'It'll have to do' I think! You made them think, and they decided to change. It might not be all the way, but it is a big thing to get people to reflect on things they take for granted.
"... so long as you ask"
Reminded me of this:
Pandora's mate: Miss, Miss, Pandora wants a wee...
Nightclub proprietor: Well, why didn't Pandora put her hand up?
Pandora: I did Miss, but it dribbled through my fingers...
@Chrissy: Brilliantly smutty! Go to the head of the class.
